  26.  as GOTO statements.  Command Post now supports a real batch language.

  42.  from the Command Post menu.  There is a SPECIAL SECTION in the front
  43.  of this cardfile that discusses functions NOT IN THE MANUAL.

  45.  Both CMDPOST.CPM and CMDUSER.CPM have been changed from previous
  46.  versions.  If there is a CMDUSER.CPM already on your disk, the install
  47.  program will not update it.

  49.  We've included a manual on disk, called CMDPOST.TXT, containing
  50.  all the text in the real manual, but without the illustrations.
  51.  There are some blank spaces in the text where the pictures go, so
  52.  use your imagination.  CMDPOST.TXT shows up in the CP-DOCS directory
  53.  under the directory you install Command Post into.

  105.                HOW TO INSTALL COMMAND POST 7.0
  106.  
  107.  Command Post is installed automatically, via our SETUP.EXE
  108.  program, as detailed below:
  109.  
  110.  
  111.    1) Close down all extraneous Windows applications.
  112.  
  113.    2) Double-Click on the SETUP.EXE program
  114.  
  115.    3) When the setup program asks for a directory, specify initial directory,
  116.       or accept the given default (C:\WINDOWS\CMDPOST).
  117.  
  118.  
  119.  NOTE:    If you are updating from a previous version, and made any of the
  120.     Command Post files READ-ONLY, remove the read-only attribute from
  121.     the files before running setup.
  122.     (Or else the setup process will hang)
  123.  
  124.                     UN-INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS
  125.  
  126.  If, for some reason you wish to un-install Command Post from your
  127.  system, here is a checklist for doing so.
  128.  
  129.  1) Examine the SYSTEM.INI file.  If you manually installed Command Post
  130.     as your primary shell (See Docs), you must edit the SYSTEM.INI file.
  131.        Change
  132.            shell=cmdpost.exe
  133.        to
  134.            shell=progman.exe
  135.  
  136.  2) Examine the WIN.INI file.  If Command Post starts automatically...
  137.        Change
  138.            run=cmdpost.exe
  139.        to
  140.            run=
  141.    If there is other stuff on the run= line, you probably want to
  142.    leave it there.  Just delete the cmdpost.exe from the run= line.
  143.  
  144.  3) Delete the entire [CmdPost] and [Browser] (if it exists) sections
  145.     from the WIN.INI file.  Actually you may leave them there, as
  146.     it really does not matter.
  147.  
  148.  4) Delete the following files from the directory that Command Post was
  149.     installed into.
  150.         cmdpost.exe
  151.         cp_dll.dll
  152.         cp_tree.exe
  153.     browser.exe
  154.         wininfo.exe
  155.         cp_blnk.exe
  156.         cp_help.crd
  157.         cp_quest.crd
  158.         cp_info.exe
  159.         cp_virt.bat
  160.         cmdpost.cpm
  161.     taskmanr.exe   NOT TASKMANG.EXE OR TASKMAN.EXE !!!
  162.         cmduser.cpm  (you may want to keep a copy around, esp. if you
  163.                       have put some work into this file.)

  166. 5) If a file TASKMANG.EXE (NOT TASKMANR.EXE) exists, rename it to
  167.    TASKMAN.EXE file.  (This is probably in the Windows directory.)
  168.    This is only necessary if you replaced the Windows TASKMAN.EXE
  169.    with the Command Post version of it.
  170.  
  171. 6) That should do it.
  172.  
  173.             ON-LINE SUPPORT
  174.  
  175.  Command Post is has on-line support on a number of computer systems.
  176.  
  177.  First of all, the home of Command Post is on Compuserve, in the
  178.  WINAPA forum, in the Wilson WindowWare section (#15 currently).  Also
  179.  the latest and greatest downloads are available from DL15 of the
  180.  WINAPA forum.    The Wilson WindowWare section of the WINAPA forum
  181.  is checked on a daily basis, and all questions will be responded to.
  182.  
  183.  The FidoNet Windows echomail conference is also monitored for Windows
  184.  questions in general.    Questions about Windows and Command Post will
  185.  be answered in the echo.

  187.  If your budget is not able to afford Compuserve, we strongly suggest
  188.  that you contact your local BBS sysops and encourage them to carry
  189.  the Windows echomail conferences.

  192.      Association of Shareware Professionals Ombudsman Statement

  208.                      CHANGES TO THE MANUAL

  211.  In the Window 3.0 appendix we tell you how to replace
  212.  Windows 3.0's Task Manager with Command Post.  Microsoft
  213.  has since renamed Task Manager to "Task List".  The Command
  214.  Post version of the may be found in the \CP-NOTES.TMP directory
  215.  with the file name TASKMANR.EXE (If you used our install program).
  216.  If you used the manual install, you can find it in the temp
  217.  directory you used.

  229.  Command Post is not and has never been public domain
  230.  software, nor is it free software.

  232.  Non-licensed users are granted a limited license to use

  234.  determining whether Command Post is suitable for their
  235.  needs.  The use of Command Post, except for the initial
  236.  21-day trial, requires registration.  The use of
  237.  unlicensed copies of Command Post by any person,

  288.   product for a period of 60 days from the date of original
  289.   purchase.  If you are unsatisfied with Command Post
  290.   within that time period, return the package in saleable
  291.   condition to the place of purchase for a full refund.

  293.   Wilson WindowWare warrants that all disks provided are
  294.   free from defects in material and workmanship, assuming
  295.   normal use, for a period of 60 days from the date of
  296.   purchase.

  300.   with the software product.  If a significant defect in
  301.   the product is found, the Purchaser may return the
